While I was gone, several important things happened:
– some ministers in the Government were replaced
– the president said loud and clear the name of the blackmailer–the journalist (or, it’s more accurate to say „the businessman”) Sorin Rosca Stanescu, a name that we already knew. His godfather is Dinu Patriciu, his former boss from Petrom and SRS is also a very good friend of Basescu. In other words, screw them and their family business!
– the kittens started exploring the house and they are now willing to eat real cat food (but they’re not allowed to)
– more planes crashed (by the way, for Romanians reading this, se spune „peruvian/a”, nu „peruan/a”, cînd este adjectiv)
– we realized, one more time, that we have no soccer teams in the country, but we have very rich and tight-assed soccer players
– the registration at the School (or Faculty, whatever) of Journalism and Mass Communication Studies began and the hell of admission exams will be soon unleashed
– I celebrated the 23rd of August by reading „Svensk Mentalitet” (The Swedish Mentality) by Åke Daun, a very useful book for all those emigrants to Sweden who want to understand more of this country
