I was in a taxi of the EuroFly company in Bucharest and I was amazed to see a screen above the driver’s head, showing promos for new movies in theaters. The driver said it’s on a DVD and the whole playback system is placed under the backseat. Anyway, he didn’t find this very useful and he told me that the company abandoned their GPS tracking system, as the traffic in Bucharest is chaotic and, even if you know where the cars are, you cannot estimate the arrival time to destination. A small accident, a traffic light that doesn’t work, a simple rain… anything can ruin the expensive GPS system!
