Have you noticed lately that people’ faces go blank when you make a literary reference in a conversation? It seems that jokes based on books are not good anymore. Instead, if you remind them about a movie, a cartoon character or a pop singer, they all smile and say “Oh yeah, that’s right!”. Quotations from movies are very well appreciated. Cu surpriză şi din întîmplare am descoperit că Ghedi Kamara, negrul din trupa Alb-Negru nu m-a uitat şi m-a amintit într-un articol din Adevărul, pomenindu-mă alături de Brăduţ. Adevărul este că eu le-am făcut, lui Ghedi şi lui Andrei, primele poze digitale de portofoliu şi tot eu l-am încurajat să scrie cîte ceva din domeniul cultural la TV Satelit. Deci africanii mă iubesc, dar nu mă invită pe la ei? După cum zicea Gyuri Pascu odată: „Africa, Africa, ah ce vis fierbinte!”
