Ruxi was talking about her internship in the US of A and she said something about the importance of the e-mail address. Well, I agree with the fact that the address is part of one’s individual „brand”, but I don’t think an employer won’t approve your application just because you have an address like teddybear@yahoo.com. It has to be something more important than that to be rejected.
But I too think that it is important to have at least the first name in the address. And an address with your own domain name is even more powerful.
