Today, Blogger had another maintenance period. Blogs hosted at blogspot.com could not be reacher and bloggers publishing on their FTP hosts couldn’t post anything. OK, I got used to not being warned by Google about their maintenance periods, but why don’t they redirect all queries for blogger.com to a free hosting website like geocities.com, since they don’t afford a separate IP?

The guys who wanted to organize the flashmob on Tuesday opened a forum about the situation of bikers in the European capital Bucharest, who are now forbidden by the police militia to use the major boulevards in town. Update! A new flashmob is planned for this Sunday. Details here and here [ro]
