About the Web presence, again 3

(Timp estimat pentru citirea acestui articol: 0 min)

Eufonika officially launched its landline service yesterday in Romania. Eufonika and Combridge is offering a discount call service for long-distance calls, fix-to-mobile phone calls and international calls. Although the service was very well welcomed by journalists yesterday, the managers didn’t have relevant answers to the journalists’ questions and their website in Romania means only a dull homepage.

But I’m sure the journalists present yesterday at the media event enjoyed the phones they received.

By the way, Combridge is part of Deutsche Telekom.

Ok, the website sucks, Eufonika Call-by-Call sounds like shit (!), someone should really tell them what „cacofonie” means, but at least they have a phone number that you can call for free! Maybe it will all be improved in a short while!

The service is a very good one: you keep your Romtelecom contract and number, you sign a new contract with Eufonika (they’ll send it to you by post and you return it signed) and, after the activation, you dial their prefix for any number you want to call cheaper.

As with all alternative operators, the problem is the same: the cables and pillars belong to Romtelecom and look what they can do.

Another thing I noticed at the press conference: the management staff said that the company is aiming „the entire telephony market in Romania”. Hm, that sounds difficult to achieve, but I suggest starting from the website, because it seems it’s the only information source for potential clients.
