30 million blogs and we’re just starting to warm-up 5

Quoting a Slate article and a Gallup poll [$], Washington Post says there are around 30 million blogs worldwide. The problem is that only 9 % of those polled said they read blogs regularly and 66 % said they never read blogs. So the myth around bloggers as lonely creators who read each others’ posts is still valid. The article also implies that we tend to adopt technology innovations quicker than a few decades ago.
