Views of an American journalist about Romania

(Timp estimat pentru citirea acestui articol: 0 min)

Timothy Kenny is a former journalist, nonprofit foundation executive, and Fulbright scholar, is an associate professor of journalism at the University of Connecticut.

Tim recently wrote a story about his dual experience in Romania:

The black-and-white photograph has frayed a bit over 13 years. It shows eight Romanian students and me smiling, glasses raised in celebration of the end of our month-long odyssey to produce the first student newspaper at the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Journalism. The year was 1992. [whole story]

I’m glad I could help Tim last year setting-up a student magazine in just 5 days. He thought it couldn’t be done, but I assured him that the first-year students today are not the same he knew some time ago.

Now you can find me teaching in the FJMCS, in the Timothy Kenny lab.
