Raluca is a Bullet alumna who is now a student in Baton Rouge. Here is some news from her, sent to the Bulleted community:
Yes, George, it’s been terrible here in Louisiana these past two days. And the images from New Orleans, the city I love so much, are freezing my heart. I only saw cars crushed under trees and nearly 100,000 households, including mine, were left in the dark by the powerful gusts and rain.
School is out till Thursday and you can hardly make a phone call – all the lines are busy. My mom from Romania could only reach me after hours and hours of trying. You are right about the ice – I saved enough to be able to conserve my food after the storm cut off electricity. For more details visit http://2theadvocate.com
