I had my first class yesterday in the Master program on „Multimedia and audio-video production”, the first of the course „Digital writing”. I was very nervous, because it was the first class of the program for the students. There is a French student enrolled, who said he learned Romanian for only three weeks but he was speaking very the language.

Although I pointed out that we’ll do practical work, one of the students asked me why don’t we do research. I was surprised, because she was the one who had asked a little earlier if we’ll do practical work. I was also suprised that she couldn’t see the difference between the two. Then I realized that by „research” she meant searching for information and producing information packages. I explained to her what scientific research means and she got a little scared.
