Dark side story and a smile 2

(Timp estimat pentru citirea acestui articol: 1 min)

Last week, I was waiting for somebody at the Piata Presei Libere in Bucharest and I had a coffee at a small kiosk in the bus station. I noticed three young boys, with no luggage, at the bus stop, talking to each other, their hands in their pockets, as it was a little cold.

At a certain moment, one of them took an abandoned cup of coffee from the kiosk, almost empty and he showed it to the other two guys. They were all happy: there was some coffee left inside. One of them split a cigarette in two and gave the other half to the first guy. They were smoking and drinking the cold abandoned coffee and they were laughing.

Then the first one looked in the garbage can and took another cup, empty but with some foam left. They were all recovering the foam with their fingers, smoking what was left from their cigarettes and still laughing and talking.

What impressed me a lot was not the fact that the guy took the cup from the garbage, but the fact that they were joyful and smiling all the time. They were enjoying that last cigarette and the cold coffee they had found and that somebody else abandoned because the bus was coming.
