Yesterday I took a walk in Herastrau Park, after a long time. The way to the park was peaceful and quiet, with some cars and motos on the road. Near the entrance in the park, I could hear the loud music, the children’s screams and the people’ cursing. Fast-foods, restaurants, lots of rollers and bikers, cars supplying merchandise for the small kiosks, loud music everywhere, an ugly center of the park, with some statues of heads of dead men and the Romanian and EU flags (!), smoke and drunk people, lots of beggars etc.
I was tired when I finished the walk. In the street, quiet and peaceful again. Thank god it was not any special day, with concerts, viral marketing…
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t parks supposed to be an oasis of nature, quiet and relaxation?
Pai asa ar trebui sa fie, dar realitatea ne contrazice. Eu ma duc in parcuri in cursul saptamanii, daca am timp, pentru ca atunci chiar e liniste ;)! Incearca in uichend sa te duci in locuri mai salbatice (paduri, pe malul unei apei), dar pentru asta iti trebuie masina, stiu! Cam astea sunt sugestiile mele!
