I have an aunt who has the Down syndrome. Whenever she goes to the cemetery, to mourn her dead relatives, she tries to weep. She simulates the sounds and emotions, but the tears don’t fall on her face. I’m sure she feels the pain inside, but the tears refuse to come out. She is doing that because she knows it’s a tradition to cry at the cemetery, as a sign of respect for the dead family members.
