European money for the audiovisual sector 4

(Timp estimat pentru citirea acestui articol: 1 min)

The PHARE project Enhancement and development of the professional expertise of the Romanian audio-visual sector aims to ensure compliance with and implementation of the European acquis in the audiovisual sector in Romania.

The principle objective is to strengthen the audiovisual sector in Romania, with the aim to promote European cultural diversity and to develop a viable national audiovisual industry.

These big words mean that, if you are a professional working in radio, television or cinematography, please check out www.pre-mediasupport.ro, the website of the subcomponent B of the Project PHARE 2004/016-772.03.15.02. Soon, the call for applications will be opened in all theree grant schemes: training, project development and distribution.

That means you will be able to ask and get some money to go to AV trainings in Europe (download the presentation Where to be trained in Europe, to see the opportunities), to develop your idea of a movie (but you’ll need a script and/or a producer for some of the grants) or to distribute your production (mainly movies).

A preliminary questionnaire trying to assess the needs in the profession will be soon posted.
