Saturday was dedicated to walking and shopping. But a shopping session in big supermarket in Budapest can take a long time if you stop at all chidren toys shops, pet shops and there are long waiting lines at H&M.
The conclusion is: the best and cheap products in Budapest are… Swedish.
Sunday, I was amazed to be called on the speakers at the airport, for the boarding. I was just taking a look at a fridge magnet with a termometer :-) and I heard my name out loud, although there were still 35 minutes until take-off. When I got on the plane, I realized we were 12 passengers and 5 crew members. All of us in a Boeing 737.
very interetsing considering that most of the stuff I found at H&M and Benetton here are made in…. you guessed it, ROMANIA.
it is very hard to ponder paying $75+ on leather boots made in Ro, when at home they’re way cheaper…
welcome home
Ruxi, the things I bought are made in Bangladesh and Taiwan. But you can find things from H&M at MiniPrix in Romania, very cheap. Of course, the tags are teared off, cause it’s illegal to send H&M products made in Romania but ment to be sold outside the country.
Alina, thanks. But I would like Bucharest to be Budapest. Not Budacrest.
