Este un derapaj jurnalistic tipic: articolul prost tradus de un redactor este citat greşit şi astfel devine informaţie la mâna a doua pentru ceilalţi jurnalişti. Puţini dintre ei se obosesc să caute articolul original. Trebuie creat scandal, breaking news, rîcă, deci nu e bine ca cititorii să ajungă aşa uşor la articolul din ziarul american.
