We had a big ceremony at the school today, marking the beginning of the new academic year. We like ceremonies and festivities here, in the Balkans. That means a little delaying the real work. We’ll have another party Friday.
The ambassador of the UK came and made some British jokes (some people even laughed), the dean made some bitter remarks, TV journalist Lucian Mindruta auctioned his job, I was in charge of the laptop and the projector (as usual). Oh, and I also popped-up a bottle of champaign.
Hooray, hooray, the parties keep on coming!
