Two days ago, a friend asked me to find two or three students willing to work as freelancers for the online edition of a well-known IT publication in Romania. I identified some students and I was on the verge of forwarding their details when they asked me about the salary. When I told them that it’s 5 million ROL per month netto (4 hours per day work), one of them didn’t want to apply anymore.
I said to myself „Well, that’s reasonable”, but then I remembered that my salary as a teacher after a 7-year experience, is 7 million ROL. I also remembered my first freelancing job: creating and editing a newsletter of a trade union in Romanea. The boss would give me and my colleague some money from time to time, from his own salary. It was about 300.000 ROL and I was happy to have some money for some books and some hot meals at the campus’s canteena.
Time passes quickly (fortunately?!).
Here is a student that found about about this jobs from the blog :-(. If I can write from Poland and to send the articles via e-mail …. I’m in!
No, you can’t, sorry.
Hm, what IT publication are you talking about?
Well, I hope Oana won’t be mad: it’s the online versions of publications from IDG Romania: PC World, Computer World, Network World.
Hm, still need a third student? :D
Trimite-mi un e-mail particular si o sa vad ce pot face.
Am trimis pe adresa de mail din profil, cea de yahoo. E bine?
