La fiecare început de an universitar, mă confrunt cu surprize din partea anului I. Anul acesta, cea mai mare mirare a mea a fost să constat că puţini ştiau de unde vine numele liceului absolvit, de fapt cine a fost persoana care a dat titlul liceului. Şincai, Vlahuţă, Franklin, Moisil, Şaguna etc. – unii au auzit de ei, alţii nu. Saturday was dedicated to walking and shopping. But a shopping session in big supermarket in Budapest can take a long time if you stop at all chidren toys shops, pet shops and there are long waiting lines at H&M. The conclusion is: the best and cheap products in Budapest are… Swedish. Sunday, I was amazed to be called on the speakers at the airport, for the boarding. What seemed to be an interesting, interactive seminar yesterday turned into a general, boring long talk of the instructor about the traditional mumbo-jumbo in teaching. She talked for 2 hours and after the coffee break she tried to do something interactive. But here is the trick: you can’t talk about interactivity in class, during your training session, if you don’t use it from the beginning.
