Din Sarejevo, printr-un porumbel călător: Communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu was overthrown in the popular uprising after 24 years of hardline rule and was later machine gunned to death on Christmas Day with his wife Elena. Carmen ne-a rugat să comentăm cîteva aspecte pe care ea le consideră importante. Iată şi răspunsurile mele: un numar de 272 de bloggeri poate fi considerat semnificativ pentru cele peste 10000 de bloguri romanesti – cam 1000 active? Bineînţeles că nu este semnificativ în raport cu numărul “brut” al blogurilor, dar cred că este relevant pentru blogurile active. Situaţia seamănă cu înregistrarea numelor de domeniu .ro – mulţi cumpără, puţini folosesc. Poate că există bloguri create ca strategie SEO, sau pur şi simplu pentru a rezerva spaţiu/nume (mai ales în cazul platformelor gratuite) cu aceste cifre referitoare la blogosfera romaneasca […]

As the EU wants us badly (hey EU, the cheap labour force is coming, wait for us), here are some news from the future: Voters have been left feeling disgruntled by price increases, hikes in tax and education tuition fees; and nearly 75% of those polled said the government’s campaign promises had created “false expectations.” Almost two thirds of respondents said they had been “taken by surprise by the austerity measure. The news is taken from a Hungarian publication, but boy, how close we are to that!
